Job Description:

Facilitate Lean PlanDo process through top level Consulting practise & Training

  • Feel responsible and accountable to the project and improving the efficiency in the construction project by getting involved
  • Facilitation of Lean PlanDo consulting sessions between Owners, contractors, consultants and subcontractors
  • Providing training to the users including project managers, engineers, supervisors, planners, subcontractors, consultants and project managers from owners.
  • Handholding the users to effectively plan and use the software application (Lean PlanDo)
  • Working and advising the users in the areas of construction planning – should be willing to learn and adapt very quickly
  • Preparation of analysis, reports, presentations and documentation necessary as a part of the consulting sessions

Execute account management & drive sales

  • Account management of existing projects & customers
  • Responsible for developing the customer into a recurring customer and enterprise customer
  • Business development, generating new leads, marketing activities and Sales responsibilities
  • Responsibilities to meet sales targets on a yearly basis
  • Participation in marketing events, conducting presentations and public talks
  • Should get comfortable and develop long term relationships with VP and C-suite-level influencers and buyers 
  • Marketing communication experience will help in preparing marketing collateral, write-ups and blogs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from leading University with outstanding academic achievement
  • Fresher with no industry experience to 5 years of experience from either professional services (consulting) or from the industry. Pure academic/research experience would not be ignored.
  • Project management experience is desired

Position Summary

We are seeking exceptional candidates with experience and passion to fill a Business Development Manager position in Lean Station's business unit. This global business unit is an integral part of Lean Station's strategy to develop new client service and partner offerings in order to deliver increased value and digital impact. The unit has responsibilities for full-life cycle of LS proprietary software, data and consulting assets, from initial business case to roadmap delivery, launch, and ongoing support operations. All of Lean Station's research directions and product capabilities are influenced by this business unit including product management, design, development, support and data insight expertise. They will have deep collaboration with Lean PlanDo's practice areas, R&D and consulting teams. This team of highly motivated and insightful colleagues will provide an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment supported by an established leader in client service.
Candidates should possess an entrepreneurial drive and have demonstrated experience leading digital product sales efforts. This Business development manager will work very closely with  leadership teams to develop client development strategy, partner development strategy, account management strategy and drive sales. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in leading commercial planning and sales for software or data product organizations.

Job Responsibilities

Create & orchestrate overall client and partner development strategy

  • Identify key business leaders and build and maintain long-term relationships with VP and C-suite-level influencers and buyers; both including existing LS clients, partners and otherwise
  • Proactively pursue business development opportunities with prospective and existing LS clients and partners to meet renewal, new account and conversion goals
  • Develop and work with LS Partners to identify potential opportunities and drive increased sales & product adoption
  • Drive revenue, increased adoption, and market share increases in the client account portfolio
  • Understand and articulate compelling value propositions around product(s) to accelerate customer adoption
  • Work with product leadership to support internal business development and as-needed efforts to "sell to" clients 

Execute product commercial agenda & drive sales

  • Contribute to development and execution of product commercial strategy and sales plans in a growth environment
  • Develop  and support the execution of product go-to-market initiatives, marketing plans, brand development initiatives globally 
  • Pursue leads and actively convert them to drive meaningful product adoption and sales

Basic Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Masters / MBA degree from a reputed college preferred
  • Preferably in management, sales, engineering or technology-related fields, with high academic achievement required
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience; business development or sales for a software product, tech consulting or tech research company highly desired
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Pre-existing network or knowledge of the industry focus area will be an added advantage
